Iberpotash SA is the first Spanish mining company that has included within the certified management system all its underground activities and operations.

ISO 14001:2004

Iberpotash, S.A. has implemented EMS (Environmental Management System) and  has been certified according to ISO 14001:2004, which covers all surface sites and facilities for  planning, mining, treatment, sales and distribution of potassium and sodium salts, at Suria, Sallent-Balsareny and Barcelona.

OHSAS 18001:2007

Iberpotash, S.A. is internationally certified in the safety and labour health Management System according to OSHAS 18001:2007 standard, being one of the few companies from mine industry which has achieved it.

The scope of supply of the safety and labour health Management System is planning, mining and treatment of sodium and potassium salts.

This certification is compatible with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, integrating all together quality, environmental and safety labour areas.
